Preschool tick.

So can you tell we are ready? We now have our library bag, back pack and hat made. It is filled with all the essential new things and we picked up the book packs this morning. Bring on Monday we are oh so ready.

 Little Miss really wanted to model all of her new stuff today and doesn't she just look adorable?

This is the back pack, full size to fit in all that stuff they need, especially for when they need to take winter clothes, they are so bulky and needing to fit a spare set inside... I made it after adapting a dinosaur pattern. Can you tell I don't actually own that many patterns, all I really did was take away the dino details, doubled the size and added a hook on top so it can be hung up on her peg. I do love that she will be starting school covered in all these Mummy made things.

 This is the specially requested littlest pet shop picture for on the bag. It had me really worried because of the leg details and was the reason it took me so long to start.In the end I really am happy with it though I would much have rathered any of her other obsessions (unicorn, pony, strawberry shortcake, fairy- they all had so much potential.

Oh and we have a small problem with the hat. I made the large size Oliver + S bucket hat for the first time and possibly should not have but on the up side it will definitely be able to cope pig tails and other hair styles that make wearing a hat difficult.

Unfortunately I really have to go, the book packs have arrived with 24!!!! books for me to cover. It may take me quite some time Yay me!
